Hi, my name is Patrick O’Donnell (the one on the left, for the guy on the right is my pilot dad). I love to travel, meet new people, and experience different unique cultures. I am an adrenaline junkie and I love to go on adventures. My ultimate dream is to one day conquer the summit of Everest, hopefully before I reach 30. Yes, I know. Reaching the summit of Everest isn’t really what one might consider as an original idea, but every adventurer and adrenaline buff I know has this particular goal in their bucket list. I have to have it in mine, too!
I am an outgoing person who loves to go trekking, mountain biking, and camping in the weekends. I like to constantly challenge myself by stepping out of my comfort zone, because for me, this is the key to living a full life. I’m in my late twenties, but I have already experienced a number of adventures that most people can only dream of; from sky diving in Hawaii, bungee jumping from the top of the Verzasca Dam in Switzerland, to exploring the coral reefs of Australia.
Even though I’ve done quite a few adventures in my life, there are still several that I haven’t crossed out from my bucket list, like swimming with great white sharks, exploring the great pyramids of Egypt, traversing the rapids of the Cagayan de Oro River in the Philippines, and of course, making it to the summit of Mt. Everest.
Ever since I was a teenager, I’ve always dreamed of visiting exotic places and learning about the different cultures around the world. I have been to Australia, Switzerland, India, Africa, Japan, and China, but I’ve yet to experience the wonders of Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines. I hope to visit these places one day. But for now, the adventure goes on. Life is too short to not take full advantage of what you have and what you can do.
